Wedding Photographer Essex : Langtons House : Trafalgar Tavern : Christie and Oliver

The first time I went to Langtons House, it was to register the birth of my first daughter, and this time it was to photograph this great wedding. With no Bridal Preparation to Photograph, I started the day by driving to Greenwich to meet Oliver, the groom, at the Trafalgar Tavern.

It is quite unusual for me to meet a bride and groom for the first time, on their wedding day, and this was Christie heading towards me at Langtons, in a cab with her Father.

So here was my first look at Christie, and she’s got a great smile!

But…what I noticed next, were her shoes!

The guys were fairly relaxed.

And the girls were too.

Music whilst they signed the register.

We then got back onto the Routemaster Bus, to take us to the Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich. There is no heating on the old buses, so coats and scarves were back on.

The bus conductor poured the champagne.

We passed by a familiar venue, I have photographed two weddings at Tower Bridge.

We then took a very quick walk along by the Thames, to the Maritime Museum.
