Frequently Asked Questions

What hours do you cover on a Wedding day?

I let you set the start time, based on when you are getting ready so this might be arriving at 11am for a 2pm wedding.
I like to stay well past the first dance so I can capture a good part of the evening party, so that might mean staying about one hour or later past the first dance.

How many photos do you give us?

I aim to take as many photos as possible, so might be 500-1000 images.

Do you edit all the photos?

Yes, I edit all the photos myself and colour correct as accurately as possible. I don’t send my images out to a production house.

Can we print the photos you supply?

Yes, you can print them for personal use at home, no problem. The images I supply on the USB are all high resolution images without watermarks. I also provide print ordering from my online gallery, so you can order lab quality prints too.

Do you take family group photos?

Yes, these traditional photos are taken at every wedding.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I have Public Liability Insurance of £5million. This is the insurance that venues will ask for and I can supply my documents if need be.

Do you also do albums?

Yes, I design albums for people 6 months – several years after their wedding, I leave this open-ended so you can come back to me at any point in the future to do a book.

How do I book you for my Wedding date?

I ask for a small deposit to secure the date, and I setup an Electronic Digital contract for the Wedding Photography. Once this is signed, I’m booked.

Do you offer any discounts on weekday weddings or weddings during the off-seasons?

Yes, I’m very happy to accomodate different budgets depending on when you are getting married. When you contact me, give me an indication of your budget and I’ll see what I can do.

Do you have an assistant or second photographer?

I photograph most weddings on my own, however if you did want an additional photographer then I have a great circle of Wedding Photographer friends that I ask to come along. I often suggest a 2nd photographer if the logistics of your Wedding might be more complex, and also if you are having 150+ guests.
