Wedding Photographer London : Tower Bridge : Lindsay and Dean

This wedding took place in the room at the top of Tower Bridge. During weeks of dull grey skies and rain, we had one day of sunny and warm weather – which was today. When I got there, it was still cloudy as I headed to London Bridge to take this distant shot of the venue.

 

Both Lindsey and Dean were getting ready at the Hilton, Tower Bridge.

Dean was waiting in the lobby with family and friends.

Then it was time to head up to see Lindsey (about an hour later than scheduled!)

These two lovely shots of Lindsey were taken by my assistant, Linda.

When we reached Tower Bridge, we all got out of the car at one end and walked over the bridge to the entrance. Lindsey’s Father and the Tower Bridge Wedding Co-ordinator, Ursula are with Lindsey.

And then it was time to get married…

And then time for a few drinks..

Lindsey, Dean, Linda and myself were then given the priviledge of going upstairs to the top level of the Tower. We took a small door which steps out onto the ‘ramparts’, on the outside. The first side we went out looked back into the bridge.

The next door took us round to the side facing the Tower of London, with the ‘Gherkin’ in the background. This part of the Tower used to be open to the public, as the grafitti shows, however it is no longer possible to climb up here on a Tourist pass.

The last door just myself and Linda went out and took a quick look.

These are the spiral stairs which lead to the top level.

We then left Tower Bridge, and headed back to The Hilton, Tower Bridge.

We then took the last few shots in daylight.
