Wedding Photography Essex : Maidens Barn : Victoria and Chifundo
The day began at a fantastic bed and breakfast near the Maidens Barn, where Victoria, her mother and bridesmaids were staying and getting ready.
Victoria was ready, so I then headed over to the Our Lady Immaculate church, in Chelmsford, where I met with Chifundo and his twin brother.
Victoria arrived with her father in a vintage Wolsely Police Car.
Its that serious moment when you enter the church…
One of the many great moments at this wedding, was when Chifundo’s family, who are originally from Malawi, spontaneously burst out into traditional song. I remember a great song when they signed the register, and another when they exited the church.
It was now time to head back to the High Easter area, to the Maidens Barn, but enroute I sourced a few locations to stop and take some amazing photos. First stop was the duck pond in Writtle, where the ducks were mostly sleeping and didn’t want fed.
Next stop…and on with the blue wellies.
This is not choreographed, these two were this happy !
Next stop…
This one is special…I love it!
And then we reached the Maidens Barn, where everyone had gathered outside to greet the Bridal Party, and blow bubbles at them while they danced into the courtyard.
The tree on the left is a Message Tree, for hanging notes on.
Inside the barn, a table was setup with a vintage typewriter for guests to leave messages.
There was also a very retro sweety table.
And a lot of cupcakes.
Still great weather in the evening.
Before the 1st dance, the families were invited to throw money at the bride and groom, seems like a good idea!
Then, an almost formal moment of the 1st dance…
Which then turned into a dance routine for the bridal party, which was great fun to watch.
What a lovely couple.
I missed it.
Both look great…
Goooo cooookie….
Daammmmmmmmmmmmmmm I missed out….. Wish you all the best son Enuf love to the both of you…
